FAQs
Getting Started
How do I get started with nutrition counseling?
To get started, please fill out my “Let’s Work Together” form. Please be sure to include your preferred method of communication. I’ll be in touch within 1-2 days!
Do I need a referral from my doctor?
A referral is usually not needed, but it will depend on your insurance. If you’re unsure, contact me for guidance or check with your provider.
What should I expect from my first session?
Your first visit lasts about 60 minutes and is a chance for us to talk openly about your eating habits, lifestyle, and overall relationship with food. We’ll review your food history, past dieting experiences, and what has or hasn’t worked for you. This session is focused on understanding your current concerns and what may be contributing to them. You’ll leave with a few nutrition tips and one or two practical strategies, along with a short-term and long-term goal to guide our work together.
